Updated December 5, 2024
You may recall that as of January 23, 2024, providing both ID and Release Forms became mandatory for all new Co-Performers appearing in new content. As of September 3, 2024, this will be a requirement for all existing Co-Performers appearing in new videos.
To help facilitate these verification updates, we recently launched Collaborators, our new tagging system. Verified Models can now opt into Collaborators and once enrolled, send requests to other verified Models they worked in the past or plan on working with in the future.
Accepting a Collaboration request confirms consent and allows Models to tag those Collaborators who appear in new content and satisfies our verification requirements. This provides Models with a streamlined experience that is more in-line with processes that exist on other content monetization platforms.
As industry leaders, we consistently update our Trust and Safety Policies to protect you, your content, and our community. We hope that the new tagging system will help speed up our Co-Performer verification and video approval processes.
What You Need to Know:
- New videos uploaded as of September 3, 2024, onwards will only get published when IDs and proof of consent have been validated for all Co-Performers/Collaborators featured in the content.
- Prepare now: Opt into Collaborators and send/accept Collab requests from other verified Models. Or you can choose one of our other verification methods that include uploading IDs and a Release Form for all Co-Performers for which you do not already have on file or have them complete the process digitally using eSignature.
- Avoid Delays: Missing either IDs or proof of consent will delay new video releases and can affect monthly payouts.
What Does This Mean?
As of September 3, when you upload a new video that features a Co-Performer who only has their ID approved, you must upload a Release Form before the video can be published.
Alternatively, if your Co-Performer has a verified Model account on Pornhub, consider opting into Collaborators and sending/accepting collab requests so you can tag each other in new videos for a more streamlined experience.
First, you must opt in on the Collaborators tab from your Core Settings. Once that is complete, decide how you want to receive new requests. We recommend the “Auto-Accept Request” setting. From there, you can start sending and receiving Collaboration requests. For more information on how to use the Collaborators feature and what the benefits are, click here.
How Do I Add Consent For Co-Performers Already On My Account?
If your Co-Performers are not in the Model Program, encourage them to join! If they choose not to, you will need to follow these steps below.
First, log into your account, head to your Model Dashboard, click on Core Settings, and select the Co-Performers tab. Here you will see a list of Co-Performer names with their consent status.
Next, you can locate your Co-Performer on the list, or you can filter all Co-Performers who are set as “Missing Consent” to narrow down the results. Click on the orange “Add Consent” button shown below:
From there, you can upload a Co-Performer Release Form or use our eSignature Link tool.
Option 1: Upload Co-Performer Release Form
For each Co-Performer on your account, download the Release Form template available under the Co-Performers tab. Work with your Co-Performer to fill it out with dates and signatures and review it carefully. If all fields are complete, proceed to upload it. (Note: you can use a different template if it meets our requirements.)

Option 2: Send eSignature Link
Send (email or DM) a secure eSignature link to your Co-Performer to verify their own ID, perform a live face scan, and digitally sign a Release Form.
How Do I Upload Proof Of Consent For A New Co-Performer On My Account?
For a quick, clear breakdown of the options available to verify the consent of your new Co-Performer, check out this video featuring Pornhub Aria, or keep reading for more information.
Please note: As of November 22, 2024, we removed the address field to reduce and protect sensitive information when adding a new Co-Performer to your account. These changes were made directly in response to Model feedback and complement our evolving Trust & Safety protocols.
What If I Am Unable To Provide Documentation?
Obtaining and submitting documentation is a requirement to upload videos on our platform. If you are missing any documents, wait until you have them in your possession before uploading the video.
If you attempt to upload the videos and there is missing documentation for your Co-Performers, your video will remain in a “Pending” status and not be published until the IDs and/or Release Form is submitted and approved.
To make sure this does not affect your monthly payouts, please be diligent when ensuring all documentation is provided.
Do I Need To Obtain A Release Form For Every New Scene When I Work With A Co-Performer?
Keeping records of IDs and signed Release Agreements for all scenes is required for Models when working with other Performers and uploading content to our site. That said, you are required to add the ID and Release Forms only once for each Co-Performer on your account.
Please note that for all videos, you may be contacted at any time to provide documents for auditing purposes or in response to external concerns. This is to ensure you are fulfilling 2257 record keeping requirements, as well as obtaining and maintaining IDs and signed agreements.
What If I Already Added Consent For All My Co-Performers?
You are all set! No further action is required if all your consent forms are approved.
What If The Release Form Got Rejected And Now Says Attention Required?
If the consent form is rejected, we will send a notification email with the reason so you can resubmit it. Contact the Model Success Team if you need further help.
Isn’t Tagging Already Available When I Upload New Videos?
Yes! If the Co-Performer is already listed on your account with approved verification documents, you will have the option to tag them when you upload a new video.
The new tagging system is called Collaborators on Pornhub and will be different since we already store and approve IDs for verified members of the Model Program in our database.
How Does Collaborators, The New Tagging System, Work?
When you upload a new video, you will be asked if it includes additional Performers. If so, you can search for and tag up to a maximum of 7 of your Collaborators or Co-Performers in your video.
First you must opt in. After that, you can send and receive Collaboration requests to other verified Models who appear in your content to confirm their identity and consent. Then you can choose how to handle your incoming Collaboration requests. We recommend selecting the “Auto-Accept Requests” option.
Collaboration requests must be accepted by the other party to confirm their consent.
You can send a Collab request by clicking “Send new Collab Request” on the Collaborators tab in your Core Settings. Then you can search for other verified Models by stage name. Once your request is sent, they will have 14 days to respond before the request expires.
After your Collab request is accepted, you can tag your Collaborator when uploading a video by searching for their stage name and selecting the account with the blue check. This is important! Verified Models who are Collaborators will appear with a blue check beside their name. Please choose this account for the tag to appear under the video player.

To summarize, as of September 3, 2024, videos will only get published if IDs and proof of consent have been submitted and approved for all Co-Performers/Collaborators featured in the content. To help make consent quicker and easier to provide, we have introduced Collaborators, our new tagging system. It is available to all verified Models in the Model Program once they have opted in. Our other verification methods, including the digital eSignature and livescans for your face and ID, are still available for Models who would prefer those traditional methods instead.
As leaders in Trust and Safety, we are always striving to make our platform and the internet a safer space. We appreciate your patience, feedback, and collaboration during this time. Let us know your thoughts on the new tagging system in the comments below!
